- Can I remove nail wraps easily?
Absolutely! When you're ready for a change, simply peel off the nail wrap from your nail. No need for harsh chemicals or expensive salon visits. Lift the edge of your nail wrap with our included tool and lift it off.
- Can I use nail wraps on natural nails?
Of course! Our nail wraps work best on natural nails. You should remove any nail polish, and clean your nails before applying.
- If I have short nails, can I use the nail wraps to extend the length of my natural nails?
As the gels are adhesive, they cant be used to lengthen, only strengthen your natural nail.
Short gels still look nice, and as your nail grows, your gels can grow with your natural nail.
- Will the gel nail wraps cause any damage to my natural nails?
You only use the file on your natural nail very lightly to remove the oil, not to remove too much like they do in the salon, therefor your natural nail is healthier underneath and not as brittle. For this reason, your nail using our wraps are healthier and not as damaged.
Removal is as easy as using the tool provided in your pack to gently get under the wrap to lift it off your nail, doing so gently will ensure that the top layer of your nail wont lift as well.

- How long will it take to apply my gel nails?
Our elligel team take pride in the fact that our DIY gel nail wraps are quick, easy & safe. It only takes 10 minutes from start to finish, and you may find once you've done this a few times that you are even faster!
- How long is the desired length of time to cure each nail?
Ideally, you’d like to be curing each nail for a period of 60 seconds. You can do this by using our elligel UV nail lamp and putting your whole hand under the LED lights or one finger at a time, whichever you find works the best for you.
With our lamp strength being 15 watts, it is stronger than other suppliers on the market. This means using our elligel uv nail lamp will definitely help you speed up the curing process.
- What accessories are required for application?
We have made the process as easy as possible. To complete one set of nails you will need the following: a sheet of elligel gel nail wraps, an elligel UV nail lamp (or alternative if already purchased), a wooden cuticle stick, and elligel nail file.

- How do I remove the gel nail wraps?
The safest way to remove your elligel nail wraps is always slowly and gently. We recommend nail polish remover or coconut oil in combination with your wooden stick supplied. Use the wooden stick to loosen the adhesive, and then slowly lift the wrap off the natural nail.
No, not at all! Anyone and everyone can use elligel nail wraps. Whether you bite your nails or grow them long, elligel will work for you.
- What if they don't fit my nail?
There are many things you can do to make sure our nail wraps fit your nail bed including cutting to shape and filling the wrap down to shape once cured on the natural nail.
elligel nail wraps are designed to suit the average pinky nail bed which is 8mm to 10mm wide while the average thumbnail bed is 13mm to 15mm wide. We have accommodated to these measurements with a little to spare.
- What if my gel nails are stiff when I open the pack?
Our team of experts can assure you that this is very unlikely to happen. elligel nail wraps are semi-cured, meaning you need to hold your nail underneath our elligel uv nail lamp to cure them for 60 seconds. Our packaging process also protects your sheets from all of the elements, including being packaged inside a protective black film cover to ensure safe travels.
- What's the wooden stick for?
The
wooden stick is a cuticle stick, used to help in the application and removal of your gel nail wraps. It can be used to clean up your cuticles prior to application. It also helps in the application process as you can apply pressure to the gel nail wrap when overlaying it into your nail bed. It's also helpful to use the cuticle stick when lifting your elligel nail wraps off the nail.
- Are elligel nail wraps messy to apply?
